About
I am Claudio Fiore Massenz and I was born in Cape Town, South Africa. I did my undergrad at the Cape Peninsula University of Technology in Industrial design and then applied to do an exchange course as a service designer in Milan, Italy. I enjoyed it so much that I enrolled in a full 2 years to do my masters in product Design. As a student, I started my own job making exhibitions for different fashion brands like Marcoliani for the wonderful event Pitti Uomo. I was also doing an internship with the innovative design studio named Analogia Project where we did interiors and exhibitions for brands like ETRO Home. Once I graduated, I started to look for work in Amsterdam, where I found work with a studio named Kossmandejong. Here I worked on large exhibitions and my main focus was on a visitor centre for the company ECCO, in Denmark. I loved this project and it lead me to working for ECCO leather. Where I was taught and designing leather for luxury brands. I was also doing exhibitions, installations and corporate interiors at the same time. I am currently employed at PVH in Amsterdam where my role has recently been diversified and my agile work ethic has now been spread as local fixture production manager and a design manager for Calvin Klein, but more importantly, I am running the Sustainability Design Store Development where I specialise in Materials, Waste, Energy and Well-being
